AT LEAST five activists of the Bangladesh Awami League were injured in a factional clash over dropping of tender schedules at Puthia Upazila in Rajshahi on Monday.
   Local sources said that tender dropping was organised at the upazila nirbahi officer’s office violating rules. The tender was called for leasing out Baneshwar bazaar.
   The clash took place when the supporters of the local AL lawmaker, Abdul Wadud Dara tried to prevent other AL workers from participating in the tender, said local sources.
   Police brought the situation under control.
