On behalf of the FOBANA 2009 Host Committee, it is a great pleasure to invite you to our Special event on July 2, 3 & 4, 2009. The Special event is primarily focused on highlighting the great movement of liberation during 1971.
The purpose of this letter is to seek your help to reach all Freedom Fighters in North America. It will be highly appreciated if you or your organization can support us by providing contact information of all Freedom Fighters in your area. FOBANA host committee will officially contact them for their active participation in the special event.
The FOBANA Special Event:
Special event committee is planning to organize several events listed below:
• Hosting a Freedom Fighter conference and showing honor to them
• Presentation on artifacts and data on Liberation War partnering with Liberation War Museum
• Hosting kids Art and Essay competition
• Hosting poetry recitation event
• Projecting documentary film(s)
• Declaring an announcement supporting the trial of Genocide & Crime Against Humanity during '71 and complete follow through on this topic
• Organizing activities that promotes the knowledge of '71 to our next generation
Special event committee are inviting number of renowned persons from Bangladesh and abroad including Freedom Fighters, activists and foreign nationals who supported the 1971 Liberation War.
Many of our honorable Freedom Fighters have moved to the USA in last 38 years and our goal is to reach all of them. Special event committee is planning to invite and honor them during FOBANA 2009. Your help on this matter is extremely important and highly appreciated.
