All currencies, coins to carry Mujib's portrait

Staff CorrespondentThe government will introduce currency notes and notes and coins inscribed with the portrait of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in phases from 2009, the finance minister, AMA Muhith, said in the parliament on Sunday.
He said currency notes and coins of all denominations would have the portrait of Sheikh Mujib.
The minister said this in reply to a question of Awami League lawmaker Begum Meher Afroz for a Gazipur constituency.
