Sheikh Hasina and AL

In your issue dated September 29 you published remarks made by the PM Sheikh Hasina at her press conference in New York.
She acknowledged that `nationally and internationally the election
was recognised as the fairest and freest'.
When asked if any action will be taken against Fakhrudddin Ahmed and General Moeen, she stated `we don't believe in politics of vendetta', and then goes on to state `should a man bite a dog if the dog bites him?'
It behoves ill of the PM to use hurtful and derogatory remarks against anybody, let alone the very people who guided the `fairest and freest election' of which she is the beneficiary.
I strongly condemn such remarks.
