And what do GA AL members get up to the whole year? I mean apart from praying for the dead and cutting cakes for the living? And fawning around Joy. Anything? Do you push certain policy initiatives with the Government? Do you disagree with the Government on anything? Or do you just talk endlessly about who said what and when for the last 40 years? Did you voice any concerns to Dipu Moni? Or just celebrate the fact that you were all rightfully back in power? Do you just hold hands and sing songs? No chair throwing? No rifts and dissent? No factions? No concentration of power in a few people's hands? No arguing over the constitution? No lust for photo ops with MPs, Ministers and Ambassadors? When you present a gift do you all try to touch it with at least a fingertip, straining shoulder and elbow, during the handover? Does your website have anything that requires intellect in it? Or is it just about sentiments frozen in time, frozen in 1971? Do you have a lot of bright, young people in their 20's amongst your membership? Are they encouraged by your leadership to return home and help out? Do any of you have plans to return and help out now that your party is in power? Or is still too unsafe? Do you help people out who are troubled by AL cadres?
Particularly which American values do you cherish for your kids that you chose for them to grow up in the US and not under an AL government? Which of these values are fighting for in Bangladesh? The right for Joy to succeed Hasina?
Groups of AL supporters all over the world are like the Keystone Cops. Much ado about nothing.
