[ALOCHONA] Re: BDNews 24

I would find it difficult to agree. Publishing wikileaks was easy - BDNews24 cannot say no to content handed to it on a plate. I have found BDNews24 relevant only for getting breaking headlines before anyone else. It has taken advantage of the absence of a natural home for online opinion and become the destination of choice for some bloggers. Thats it. And its editorial line or editor's section is virtually non existent.

The other sections are very slow to be updated and internally generated content hardly ever has any depth. There is little if any analysis.

BdNews24 gets you the breaking headlines first - especially if you are in another timezone. Apart from that it has hardly lived upto its promise and cannot match the Daily Star or New Age in any department.

I'm being harsh. But hey! Its aggressive anti Yunus editorial line is unforgiveable. And its owned by Dhorbesh :)

As in typical desi practice it may be owned by front men or indirectly.
