Dear Robin
Thanks for the confirmation. I think a public register of who owns what would be in the public interest. I suspect Dhorbesh came into being after the terribly tragic death of his daughter a few years back in London. She and a boy (my relative) both feel from a building to their death.
Nevertheless, it didn't stop him from doing what he does best. There is something most miserable about these people. You won't find many rich people in Desh who take leadership roles in their communities and build great social institutions or wonderful social organisations. Some build colleges and name them after themselves!
Its amazing how many wre willing to risk blowing up their names and reputations even in the twilight of their lives - for a few dollars more.
Best wishes
Ez
Yes it is owned by Salman F Rahman colloqially known as the "Darbesh" these days after his not so recent epiphany (in line with traditional Desi practice of becoming pious as twilight years approach and fear of past misdemeanors catch up). As in typical desi practice it may be owned by front men or indirectly.

Does anyone know who owns BDNews24? I have heard that it is Salman F Rahman but it would be good to know for sure. Does anyone know where I can find this information?
Thanks
