Bangladeshi vessel intercepted
A Bangladeshi ship, suspected to be carrying arms and ammunition, was
intercepted by authorities of the Indian Coast Guard at Sagar island
in the State's South 24 Parganas district on Saturday. "A ship coming
from Bangladesh has been intercepted. We are now trying to establish
contact with those onboard," said L.M. Meena, Superintendent of
Police.
