This is a fact. Let me share another fact here Mr. Saha

In 1958, there was killing inside the Assembly Building of the then East Pakistan (The building is called Jagannath Hall of DU now). Deputy Speaker Shahed Ali was killed by Assembly Members (BAL). Six BAL members were arrested in that murder, one of them was Mr.     ......
They were released, no proceeding was done then to save the sanctity of the assemkbly but we got Ayub Khan as a Prize on this behalf.

Why in the world you bringing Pakistani politics now, which nobody to do anything with.

Lahore riots of 1953 : Maududi was arrested and sentenced
to death as the prime instigator [  his sentence was subsequently
commuted].

The Lahore riots of 1953 were a series of violent agitations against the Ahmadiyya
movement in the city of Lahore, Pakistan, which were quelled by the Pakistan Army.
Demonstrations began around February 1953, and soon escalated into citywide incidents
of murder, looting and arson against the Ahmadi community. The attacks were
incited by the Jammat-e-Islami ipolitical party led by Abul Ala Maududi. Unable to contain
the increasingly widespread civil disorder, Governor General Ghulam Muhammad handed
over the administration of the city to the army under Lieutenant General Azam Khan
and imposed martial law in Lahore on March 6, 1953. The 70-day-long military deployment
saw Lahore return to normalcy under Azam Khan's coherent leadership.

Maududi was arrested and sentenced to death as the prime instigator of the riot.
But his sentence was subsequently commuted. The commutation did not nullify
the conviction and was conditional.
