Even Mahatma Gandhi is being revisited and called as a gay man to create some sensation and drama. Was Vivekananda a con-man? Was Ramakrishna a gay man? Look, the guys like Sil needs to provoke people to sell their books. A mundane book about Vivekananda would have sold a single copy. I would not take these writings seriously because the pos, Sil is not a contemporary of Mr. Narendra Nath Datta. I would rather go with the words that came from the horse's mouth!
I do not find Vivekananda very religious type from his writings. He had no reason to be a con-man. The man could have become whatever he wanted to be. All doors were open to him when he graduated from Calcutta University. But he chose a saint's life.

I have seen many bad things written/depicted about the Prophet of Islam. Should I right away discard all his contributions? Should I discard Vivekananda just because someone wrote something negative about him? I want to judge a person in totality of his/her deeds. I like many things Vivekananda said and preached. Those writings will remain valid in spite of whatever negative aspect he may have in his life. I am mature enough to take criticism into consideration while judging Vivekananda. I cannot call him a "con-Man" as Farida did. I believe - Vivekananda will still remanin as one of the best spiritual leaders the world has ever seen.
