Talibans were the creation of CIA/ISI during the days of the US-backed Mujahedeen oprations against Soviet occupation in Afghanistan. Their ideological fire from the Sunni Wahhabi hearth had pleanty of fanning from the Saudi Dynasty long after the Afghans kicked the Soviet troops out.
It is this ignominious origin of the Talibans that would prevent any glimmer of hope for decent human life for the girls and women of Swat or anywhere in Pakistan.
