Wait, not that fast!

She is playing politics; and it will be hard to believe her. Although India supports Sk. Hasina; but it is easy for them to play with Mrs. Khaleda Zia. Remember, India occupied Bangladesh market during staunch anti-Indian Ershad and Khaleda; not during Sk. Hasina.

 

As far as Hindus are concerned, they support AL, because they don't have an alternate. BNP will never be better than AL; so Khaleda Zia will not be able to grab the minority vote.  Of course, shifting 2% Hindu vote may cause havoc to the ruling party; I hope they understands that. Moreover, Khaleda Zia did not even admit the carnage during her rule; let alone ask for forgiveness. Hindus did not forget that. But it may happen that, may be, some Hindus will not go to cast vote; and that will harm AL. Thanks.

I am glad Khaleda Zia has finally changed her anti-Indian political ideology. It is not a winning strategy anymore; that was a Pakistani ideology, which died with the death of East Pakistan. If Khaleda Zia can now conquer hearts and minds of the religious minorities, her rein will be guaranteed.

 

Minority support is up for grab now, especially after recent atrocities on religious minorities by the Awami League cadres. Awami League is using religious minorities as their toys. BNP should make this point clear to the religious minorities.
