Subject: [Alapon] BCCDI announces new language class on Pali during regular Saturday class

 

Dear Community Members,

Bangladesh Center for Community Development Inc (BCCDI) proudly announces addition of Pali language class along with Bangla and Arabic class which takes place at our Bangla School on every Saturday morning starting at 10:00 AM.

This course will be taught by an honorable accredited Bhikkhu who has vast knowledge on Pali language as well as the teachings of Buddha. By design this course is to help you to learn the basics of Pali grammar and vocabulary through direct study of selections from the Buddha's discourses. It thus aims to enable you to read the Buddha's discourses in the original as quickly as possible.

Though the course is intended for our younger generation but the parents as well as any adult person are also encouraged to join this linguistic and religious teaching class. Please register to join the class as soon as possible. Our first Pali class will start on Saturday January 26, 2013.
