Typical example how the BNP-Jamaat  sympathizer (Rana's family) change platform to AL to gain economical advantage.
Whole Rana family (Father/uncles) never being from AL !
Similar to Dhakeswari temple, there was scam on Prabarthak Sanga at Chittagong while plan to sale to TK (Tayeb/Kalam) group of industries  later on back foot !

When the British Administration introduced Permanent Settlement, Bengali Muslims were poor and backward.  Hence most properties were leased out to Hindus.  Situation changed after 1947.  The administrations in Pakistan and Bangladesh did indeed consider abandoned property of Hindus as easy grab, mal-e-ganimat.  But then, even Muslims swallowed the land of the Beharis and the Hindus did the same to Hindu property even in the guise of assorted Hindu foundations.  Even the late Justice Debesh Bhattacharya and Neem Chandra Bhowmik were once blamed for having swallowed the property of Dhakewswaree temple.
