According to me there is no scientific basis of Vastu Shastra. I also want to add that all Indian customs do not necessarily have any scientific basis.

It is a great pity that we are citing unauthentic sources. I think we should together read some literature on philosophy of science. And then discuss on these issues.

I have a duty to aware people about superstitions and promote scientific temper (Article 51 A, Constitution of India). I do think that Vastu and similar practices are superstitions and people should not be misguided (my right is secured by Article 19).
