All religious clans hate one another. It's a fight for the turf, just like supporters of two competing teams do in the sport arena. We often hear – Islam forbids killing of innocent people; it sounds good; isn't it? But, that's not stopping the killing of innocent by-standards by bombs around the world? Terrorists also know that it is un-Islamic to kill innocent people? Then, why it still happens? The fallacy is in the interpretation of the term "innocent." People outside of Islam are all - infidels, and there are reprimands for being an infidel. So, they are not "innocent" in the eye of Islam. The Boston-bombers were all-American kids until he started to seek religion. The older one wanted to be a boxer; the younger one was a sophomore in a college. They used to party with friends, like any normal American kids. Their mother did not approve of their life-styles; she forced them to commit to Islam. The older one did comply fully, and became a regular Mosque-goer. He severed contact with all his friends, and became isolated. He lost purpose in life. Frustrations set in. He once said – "I have no American friend, and I do not know why I am here." His mother, now, blames America for her sons' acts. If people fail to diagnose the effects of religious brainwashing correctly, they are destined to fall victim of it. The lesson is – heavy doses of religious brainwashing could kill rational cognitive thinking abilities of a human being. Jiten Roy
