My salam / nomosker / good morning to all of you (in accordance with your religious believe / priority). Would you please join me to:
1. Thank Gen. Hussain Muhammad Ershad (from the core of your heart, like me) for pronouncing that "...people do not want to see hartal because of killing and destruction of property in arson attacks in the name of caretaker government issue...".
2. This is exactly what the general Bangladeshi people (excluding the power-mongering unwanted elements) want to hear from an aged and experienced politician like Gen. Ershad. Does anybody know his email address? I want to thank him personally.
3. I request Gen. Ershad to please promote it. I want to let him know that the peace loving Bangladeshi people do not want any further hortal where picketing, arson, and loss of lives happen.
4. Political (or even non-political) parties can call hortal only if it is non-violent (such as carrying banner telling that "We are not working" or similar).
5. I really want to see other nice political leaders, like Gen. Ershad, to express their support against violent hortals.

People don't want to see two ladies: Ershad
Rangpur, May 13 (UNB) - Jatiya Party chairman HM Ershad on Monday said the people of the country do not want to see the two ladies – Sheikh Hasina and Khaleda Zia - in power any more.
Addressing a public gathering at Latifpur in Mithapakur upazila, the JP chief, however, said people want Jatiya Party to form the next government with people's mandate.
Ershad said Jatiya Party needs to win 151 seats in the next general election to go to power.
About frequent shutdowns, he said people do not want to see hartal because of killing and destruction of property in arson attacks in the name of caretaker government issue.
Ershad at the gathering introduced Fakhru- uz-Zaman Jahangir as a party candidate for Mithapakur constituency in the next general election.
He went to Latifpur to see for himself the two orphans of Shahin Mia and Jannati Begum, victims of Tazreen factory fire incident.
