Bangladesh Bank, under the able leadership of Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman was instrumental on exposing those criminal activities whaich were going on for long and most started during Khaleda-Nizami regime.
Unfortunately Awami League could not convey this message correctly to the middle class, who are opportunistic but can influence the mass. Only Swadesh Roy was relentlessly bringing up the truth in his columns. Gaffar Chowdhury and Masuda Bhatti are strong writers but they generally focus more on core political issues. Shafiqur Rahman (of Chandpur) is completely useless, only staunch Awami Leaguers read his writing, Abdul Mannan (ex-V.C.) is useless, in talk-shows he is a soft target and BNP-wallahs love him. Nurul Islam BSc is a back-stabber (their are many in AL) and has no credibility.
BNP has Barbad Mazhar (he and Farida Akhter of Odhikar - the evil duo - work in tandem), Shafiq Rehman, Awal Thakurand MephistophelianMahmudur, all has the same ability to make their lies believable to the mass.
However the so-called impartial chameleons like Prothom-Alo gong lead by decomposed leftie Matiur Rahman are the worst enemies.
Awami Leaguers can not even highlight their impressive performance in the power sector, they can not even present their achievement in this sector, (just for example)
