I fully agree with you. I just don't understand why people get so uppity when it comes to matter of religion. I always maintained that it is the the religion, rather than the adherents of the religion, which is to blame for all the ills in our society.

Killing is extreme, no doubt about that, even when the victim is a criminal. However, the impunity of religious hate-mongers in Bangladesh has been way overdue for stoppage. This, possibly the first, incident of no-nonsense measure by the police against the hate-mongers is indeed a sign of progress and hope for Bangladesh.
