Dear All
Pl take my Salam.
National Election for 10th Assembly is done. So many news,
features and write ups - analyzing the election episode are
now being published - it is difficult to select the best suitable
one for this column. If you are a keen reader on country and
its condition, you can always go through as much as possible.
The reality is - the said election costing 150 or more human
lives and enormous destruction, is not going to end here or
getting national & international recognition either. We are
absolutely at mercy of power politics, so far getting back our
stability is concerned. Govt as so called legitimate power
will try to be ruthless and brute to suppress all opposition.
But Bangladesh people who with that courage & confidence
could fight back a highly trained & equipped professional
army, are now more conscious & concerned about country.
I am afraid to say, some people being furious & frustrated
on Indian instigation on this issue, may ultimately go for a
hit & run policy with weapons at hand. For nothing, the
minority Hindu community spread all over the country may
unfortunately become easy soft targets. India may think of
sending its troops - and against stiff resistance inside, a
real global game of big powers will start. Just think of China.

বর্তমান বাংলাদেশকে ঘিরে অতীতের মতো আরেকটি ত্রিভুজ যুদ্ধ পরিস্থিতি উঁকি দিচ্ছে না,
বলা কঠিন। দিল্লির ব্লুপ্রিন্ট বাস্তবায়ন এখন খোলাবাজারে। পাকিস্তানের বিরুদ্ধে সেন্টিমেন্ট
জাগাতে মুজিবের মতো আবারো ভারতবিরোধী সেন্টিমেন্ট জাগিয়ে তোলার বিকল্প কোথায়?
