Dear Friends,

During the week of April 7- April 11, the Sindhi American Political Action Committee (SAPAC) will be organizing meetings with members of the United States Congress to bring their attention to key issues in Sindh.

These issues include religious intolerance, lack of educationfamine and drought conditions that are currently not being adequately addressed and the killing of Sindhi activists by government and extremists forces within Pakistan.

Our aim is to raise awareness of these issues in the United States.

SAPAC president, Dr.Maqbool Halepota, stated that, in light of the current events in Sindh, "Advocating in Congress is essential to improving the situation in Sindh because of America's influence. SAPAC and its interns are working diligently to attain this end, and we welcome any American supporters of Sindh to join us on The Hill."

Sindhi Advocacy Week will take place from April 7 to April 11.  Any Sindhi-Americans desiring to participate can contact us at sapac.sindh@gmail.com, and it can be arranged for you to attend a meeting with SAPAC on Capitol Hill.

Please see attachment to this message.

Deepest Regards,
Michael Volk
