I have not watched the movie. Looking at the song scenes I can tell that it is basically an entertaining commercial and hence a shallow movie. Bangladesh govt. has done the right thing. Anti-AL government people are trying to make a big issue out of it.I don't know under what circumstances General Osmany could not be made available at the occasion of the surrender of the Pakistani army. I wish he could have been present there.Bengalis wanted free Bangladesh. India was at least a strong catalytic agent if not an indispensable instrument. That does not diminish the strong love for independence of the Bengalis.Both the birth of the nation and aftermath were infested with national and international conspiracies and bad governance as well. I will not blame common people.

What has been done in "Gundey" is definitely unfortunate and deplorable. Definitely it hurts the feelings of those who love Bangladesh, believe in it's true history and respect the spirits of 1971. The government of Bangladesh has already lodged a protest. What else can be done? I guess, nothing. The film has been made by a private company. Profit is the prime motive. They have "felt" sorry. That is the best we can expect. If it is really making money, they are not going to stop the shows.With that said I also need to refer to all the controversial movies being made and marketed in different countries. Only thing you can do is to protest and ban on the import.What about the internal or domestic forces who are continually distorting our history and raping the spirits of 1971? Are they not the worse criminals?

মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধের ইতিহাস বিকৃত করা ভারতীয় সিনেমা গুন্ডের বিষয়ে বাংলাদেশ সরকারের চিঠির কোনো কাজই হয়নি। উল্টো গুন্ডে-তে কোনো রকমের পরিবর্তন আনবে না যশরাজ ফিল্মস। তারা এ বিষয়ে একটি ক্ষমা বক্তব্য দিয়েই আপাতত দায়িত্ব শেষ করেছে। ভারতের কয়েকজন সাংবাদিক এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করে বলেছেন, গুন্ডে নিয়ে যে হইচই হচ্ছে এটা যশরাজ ফিল্মেস আম�=B
