Syria Just Had Its Bloodiest Two Days Yet

<< The terrorist group has made significant territorial gains over the past few months, capturing major cities in northern Iraq such as Mosul and continuing to expand its control over Syria. Its advances into Syria have been facilitated in large part by the weapons it captured from the retreating forces of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki. ISIS does not limit its attacks in Syria to government forces alone, but rather seeks to rid eastern Syria of the moderate rebel factions who also oppose Assad, as well as ethnic Kurds. Last Monday, ISIS expelled both more moderate rebels and other jihadi groups from Deir al-Zor city, the largest in eastern Syria. As ISIS tightens its grip over the oil-rich region bordering Iraq, Assad's forces have responded by mounting several retaliatory airstrikes. >>>>

Mr. Barua is a man of free spirit. His artistic expression is not a new phenomenon that needs to be appreciated from a single angle. If he is capable of drawing some cartoons of certain well known characters of the community, I say more power to the man's writing! Should these community characters be treated as holier than founders of Bangladesh? They can write anything about anybody and yet they would not tolerate any of their own tonic? The question should be whether the man writes well in general or only certain kind of writings would be appreciated by certain people due to their chronic allergy ailment? I say, let that man have his artistic freedom! Thank you.

Dear Mr Susash,                  dt 22nd July '14

It is appreciable that you can compose nice
poetry also.  It is the presentation, which
determines how you want to project & portray
yourself in the society.  People like & love a
decent picture of a person.  Thanks.

বিনিদ্র - ক্লান্ত শিশু -খাদ্য বিহীন ;
