বিএনপি'র সিনিয়র ভাইস চেয়ারপার্সন তারেক রহমান বলেছেন, শেখ মুজিবের বিরুদ্ধে
দেশদ্রোহী মামলা করা প্রয়োজন। কারণ ১৯৭২ সালের ১০ জানুয়ারী পাকিস্তানি পাসপোর্ট
নিয়ে পাকিস্তানি নাগরিক হিসেবে স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশে ফিরেই তিনি রাষ্ট্রপতি হিসেবে শপথ
নিয়েছেন। আইনের দৃষ্টিতে তিনি পাকিস্তানি নাগরিক। বাংলাদেশ স্বাধীন হওয়ার পরও
শেখ মুজিব স্বেচ্ছায় পাকিস্তানের পাসপোর্ট গ্রহণ করেছেন। তিনি বাংলাদেশের অবৈধ
রাষ্ট্রপতি। তারেক রহমান বলেন, বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতা ও মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময়ের ইতিহাস
ভিত্তিক কিছু তথ্য দলীল প্রমাণের ভিত্তিতে তুলে ধরি। প্রতিটি বক্তব্য ছিলো তথ্যভিত্তিক।
অথচ এই অভিযোগে আমার বিরুদ্ধে নাকি দেশদ্রোহী মামলা দেয়া হয়েছে। ৭ নভেম্বর
