I highly appreciate Subimal's comment and conviction here. It has reflected the clear understanding of the actual facts of the matter.  Rahman's blanket comment is understandable as well.  There is a stream of a very weak current in our society who are biased in a strange way without substance.

Personally I have huge respect for Bhasani. I don't see when he betrayed common people. He was always ahead in every progressive movement. If he were alive, he would have alliance with Jamaat-Islami! Alliance in what sense? The kind of alliance BNP has? I doubt. The kind of invisible alliance sometimes AL had or has? Might be, but as a strategy in a democratic movement. 

Bangladeshis are extremely communal and selfish! I cannot quite agree with Dr. Rahman. It is a big topic.

Bhasani was not the man that people try to portray him as he was. If he were alive, I bet, the man would would have had an alliance with the Jamatis. Bluntly put, he was an erratic individual with too many contradictions. I am not sure what he was really standing or fighting for?

And, for Avijit, I do not think Bangladeshis really care much about him. He is just another name and people are already openly justifying his gruesome murder. That is our reality in Bangladesh. And it is not going to change anytime soon.

" মনে পড়ছে, মৌলানা ভাসানীর এক ন্যক্কারজনক প্রকাশ্য মন্তব্য যে বাংলাদেশের ক মিউনিস্ট পার্টির সাধারণ সম্পাদক আব্দুস সামাদের আসল নাম বারীন দত্ত। এই ভাসানী ফরাক্কা বাঁদের বিরুদ্ধে আন্দোলনে নামার আগে নমাজ পড়ার আহ্বান জানিয়েছিলেন। সুতরাং বামগ্লাদেস গঠনের শর্ত ভেঙেছিলেন জনপ্রিয় নেতা ভাসানী। অভিজিতের হত্যার বীজ অনেক আগেই পোঁতা হয়েছিল ।আজ মনটা তেমন ভাল নেই
