Real People's Rule and the supremacy, were the only solution of the country's problems LAHORE, Sep. 9; Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that a real People's Rule and the supremacy of the country's ideology, were the only solution of the country's problems. He was addressing a workers convention at Quetta on Wednesday.
Sirajul Haq said that the country's border was the target of Indian shelling, the Indian rulers were aggressive but the attitude of the rulers in Islamabad was apologetic. Te country needed a bold leadership that could see eye to eye of the enemy, he added. He said that the JI alone could steer the country out of the crisis. He pointed out that in Turkey, Morocco, Algeria and some other countries had expressed their confidence in their Islamic movements and the days were not far off when the people of Pakistan would also support the JI.
The JI chief said that Balochistan was a backward and a deprived province. This was mainly due to the narrow mindedness and bias of the bureaucracy in Islamabad. Besides, he said, the people ruling the province were least interested in the peoples welfare and simply wanted to prolong their rule.
Terming corruption as the biggest problem of the country, he demanded a mega operation against the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.
Sirajul Haq said that the rulers had diverted the country's resources towards the Punjab and Islamabad, and questioned why metro project was not conceived for Quetta.
He said if the route of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor was changed, the people would be bound to presume that the rulers themselves wanted to sabotage the project.
