[mukto-mona] Please join us at the SHEBI Event of November 22nd., Sunday at 12:30 p.m.



Dear Bangladeshi Community members and Friends of SHEBI,

SHEBI (The Society to Help Education in Bangladesh, International) cordially invites you to a special Fundraising Event to be held on Sunday, Nov 22,  12:30 noon – 5:00 pm, sharp, in the Aldersgate Church at 235 Park St. North Reading Ma. 01864.

As you may be aware, since 1985 SHEBI has raised over $235, 000 and sponsored over 58 projects with the goal of assisting in the improvement of education in Bangladesh. Starting in 2010, SHEBIdecided to focus on education for children with special needs, such as autism, blindness and other disabilities, for which there is an unmet need in Bangladesh. It is estimated that over 280,000 children in Bangladesh suffer from autism.

The purpose of the Fundraising Event is to inform you of details of some specific projects that SHEBI has recently completed and additional projects that SHEBI is hoping to undertake in 2014 -2015 with the goal of making possible education for children with special needs and to solicit your kind assistance. The Agenda is as follows.

2:30 – 3:00 pm            Welcoming Speech and Summary of SHEBI Achievements

3:00 – 4:00 pm            Invited Speakers                    

4:00 – 5:00 pm            Open Discussion and Brainstorming

 SHEBI is eagerly looking forward to your participation in this event. Since the time allocated is short, SHEBI requests that you kindly show up promptly so that you do not miss out on any of the planned activities..

Directions to Aldersgate United Methodist Church:

FROM I-93 NORTH or  SOUTH: Take Exit 40 / Route 62. Turn right at the end of the ramp and head East on Route 62. Stay on Route 62 - turning right onto Routes 28 & 62 and a quick left at Kitty's Restaurant. After 2.5 miles, turn left onto Aldersgate Way.  The church is the first driveway on the right.  (Map to Aldersgate).
