Re: [mukto-mona] Please read

Bangladesh has become a barbaric state. A person is judged there not by his/her capability or education or patriotism, but purely by his/her religion. In any developed country, if someone even mentions that he is a Hindu or a Muslim or a black man to refer to a man, that would trigger legal action. But not in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is blatantly communal, bigoted and barbaric.
When I grew up there in the 1950s and 1960s, things were not like this. We used to play with Hindus or even Biharis. But why the country had turned so sectarian, when a newly independent country should embrace everybody in a secular environment, I do not know. It is despicable and shameful.
