When a society becomes totally oblivious to women' tears and sorrow, we can easily predict tomorrow's stormy weather. Yes, it would be darker,windy and joyless. The curse is in the works.

সাবেক অর্থমন্ত্রী শাহ এ এম এস কিবরিয়ার স্ত্রী বিশিষ্ট চিত্রশিল্পী আসমা কিবরিয়া আর নেই। সোমবার সকাল ৯টা ১০ মিনিটে রাজধানীর একটি হাসপাতালে হৃদযন্ত্রের ক্রিয়া বন্ধ হয়ে তিনি মৃত্যুবরণ করেন (ইন্নালিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহি রাজিউন)। মৃত্যুকালে তার বয়স হয়েছিল ৭৮ বছর।কিবরিয়া পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে শাহ এ এম এস কিবরিয়া ও আসমা কিবরিয়া ছেলে ড. রেজা কিবরিয়া সবার কাছে মায়ের আত্মার মগাফেরাত কামনার জন্য দেশবাসীর কাছে দোয়া ছেয়েছেন।
