Please be aware of the following two phenomena in Bangladesh: 1) religious minorities are being annihilated rapidly, and 2) Bangladesh is immerging deeply into Islamic fundamentalism.
These two phenomena are not isolated events; in fact, they are intricately related. The plight of religious minorities anywhere is the 'cannery in the coal mine' to gauze the rise of Islamic fundamentalism there.
The question is – can Bangladesh survive going in the direction it is heading? More importantly, can Bangladesh survive under the Islamic fundamentalism? Time has come for leaders of Bangladesh to give this thought a serious look.
Actually, it's no-brainer to us; doubters can just look at the world with open mind. We hope politicians in Bangladesh, irrespective of political affiliations, realize that the presence of religious minorities in Bangladesh is the only panacea they have at their disposal to control the rise of Islamic fundamentalism in Bangladesh. Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council in the USA and elsewhere in the world is trying to convey this simple message to the World Communities.
This organization is also warning the World communities through their activities, as shown below, that Bangladesh is immerging into Islamic fundamentalism, even under the relatively secular government in power, and Bangladesh needs help from the world communities to reverse this course.
