Farida Majid ২০১৩ সালের ৫ই মে অামি ছিলাম রাস্তায় -- কাকড়াইলের মোড়ে -- অবিশ্বাস্য চোখে তাকিয়ে দেখেছি হেফাজতিদের ঝটিকা মিছিল, তাদের হিংস্র মুখচ্ছবি, তাদের হামলার তান্ডব -- নিরীহ সিএনজি চালককে থামিয়ে, পিটিয়ে তার গাড়ী ভাঙচুর করা। মনে হয়নি তারা স্থানীয় লোক, মনে হয়নি তারা এই গ্রহের বসবাসী কোন মানুষ। এমন ভয়ঙ্কর চেহারার কোন মানুষ হয়?
আশেপাশে কোন পুলিশ ছিল না, এবং আমি মনে মনে বলেছিলাম -- পুলিশ না থেকে ভালই হয়েছে। যত দোষ সব পড়তো পুলিশের ঘাড়ে।
