The problem with Muslims is that, their alliance is to their cult, they call Ummah. They are only loosely attached to their national identity. UN is the assembly of Nations, not an assembly of cults. It deals with national problems, not cult problems.

About umah, all will say it is as hollow as any political grandstanding. Hope , bangladesh muslim realize that average muslim cannot get any long favor from umah, as many are getting in christain-judia society; they have their acknolwledgent by applying for residency there. Few who opted for umah, I know one of one regreted within 2 years. They first year was great, but didnt last.
