More than half of the MPs (154 to be exact) were un-elected in the last parliamentary elections. The rest managed a combined 5% votes. The whole world condemned it, refused to accept the results.

Try expressing your views in public in Bangladesh where no BAKSAL-II goons are around and then face your fate. You will be lucky to come in one piece with your sari on, if you happen to wear one.
You have two options: 1) enroll in primary lessons on democracy, or 2) visit a psychiatrist the soonest.
In the past, I asked you to show evidence where and when Ziaur Rahman killed people or became a dictator. You have not yet answered my questions.
May I remind you:
Ziaur Rahman did not eliminate 40 thousand political opponents (with Rakkhi Bahini).
Ziaur Rahman did not kill parliamentary system by an arbitrary Four Amendment within 11 minutes without any debate.
It was not during Ziaur Rahman's time that half a million died and another 1.5 million lost everything under a highly corruptive administration.
Ziaur Rahman did not kill democracy by creating one-party BAKSAL. In fact, it was Ziaur Rahman who reintroduced democracy after BAKSAL killed it.
I may also refresh your memory that two million people gathered to mourn the death of Ziaur Rahman. To the contrary, only 17 people could be gathered to the janaza of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman; no tear was shed, no innalillah was heard at his death, in fact people rejoiced everywhere (Open the media pages of the time for evidence).

Can you believe this nonsense from an NRA-friendly website? "Left-wing politicians, activists and journalists are using the worst mass shooting in modern American history to attack one of the nation's oldest civil rights organizations."
That's what the right-wing Daily Caller wrote in an article this week about Democracy for America's email calling out the NRA for their role in perpetuating mass shootings like the one that took place in Las Vegas last weekend.
I certainly don't consider the NRA a "civil rights organization," especially given their history of fueling violent white supremacy through support for "Stand Your Ground" laws and other policy goals.
It's clear that the NRA, the Republican Party, and their far-right allies are paying attention to all of us. And they're worried. Already the NRA is spending big in key legislative races in Virginia, a crucial swing state with legislative elections this year. We need to fight back.
The NRA spends millions every year to elect Republicans who help them fight sensible legislation on guns. But we've beaten them before. And with your help, I think we can beat them again.
I just got back from Virginia, where I joined DFA's Electoral Campaign Manager Mondale Robinson to help turn out voters for Chris Hurst, a progressive running for state legislature. Hurst lost his fiancee, Alison Parker, when she and her cameraman were shot and killed live on TV in 2015. Hurst is building a movement for change -- and voters are responding strongly to his message.
I know we can win his race and many others just like it across Virginia and the rest of the country this fall. We can show elected officials that the NRA can be beaten -- and that the public demands action on gun violence. Can you help right now to power our organizing through the election?

আওয়ামীলীগ যখন একের পর এক আঘাতের মাদ্ধমে , জনপ্রিয় তত্ববধায়ক নির্বাচন বেবস্থা বাতিল, একদলীয় নির্বাচন বেবস্থা, ১৫৪জন সংখ্যা গরিষ্টের ভোটহীন অবৈধ ও অগণতান্ত্রিক সংসদ, বিরোধী দলদের মিটিং মিছিল সম্মেলনে বাধা, সংবাদ মাধ্যম বন্ধ, গুম-খুনকে বিরোধী দল দমনের রাজনৈতিক হাতিয়ার বানানো , বাক স্বাধীনতা রুদ্দ্ব, এমনকি ফেসবুকে 'কটূক্তি' কারীকে এরেস্ট করা, ইত্যাদির মাদ্ধমে বাংলাদেশের গণতন্ত্রকে ধ্বংস করলো , আইনের শাসনকে শংস করলো, জবাবদিহিতাকে ধ্বংস করলো, তখনও এই সুশীল ও সংবাদ মাদ্ধমরা (বিশেষত প্রথম-আলো , ডেইলি ষ্টার ) ছিল নিশ্চুপ ও সমর্থনকারী !!
দেশের প্রতিটি প্রতিষ্ঠান, প্রতিটি সংঘ, ,রীতিনীতি আজ এই একদলীয় স্বৈরাচারীর পদপৃষ্ঠে লন্ডভন্ড !! তাইতো দেখি সুন্দরবন্দ-খেকো ভারতের লাভ করা রামপাল দিতেও এই স্বৈরাচার কুন্ঠা বোধ করে না , ৯০% মানুষের বিরোধিতা থাকা স্বর্তেও !! একই ভাবে দেশ বিরোধী ফ্রি ট্রানজিট হয়ে গেলো ! একই ভাবে রাষ্ট্রীয় ব্যাঙ্ক গুলো থেকে জনগণের টাকা লুট হয়ে গেলো , জবাবদিহিতার কোনো বালাই নাই !! কারণ জবাবদিহিতার সমস্ত প্রতিষ্ঠানকে , কল কব্জাকে এই সুশীল ও সংবাদ মাদ্ধমরা ধ্বংস করতে সাহার্য করেছে , তাদের নিশ্চুপতার মাদ্ধমে !!
সুপ্রিম কোর্টের সামনে গ্রিক মূর্তির জন্য এই সব সুশীল ও সংবাদ মাদ্ধমের যত সোচ্চার গলাবাজি ছিল তার ১% যদি থাকতো গণতন্ত্রের জন্য, আইনের শাসনের জন্য , দেশের স্বার্থের জন্য, থাহলে বাংলদেশ আজ এতো বের্থ রাষ্ট্রে মুখ খুবড়ে পড়তো না !!
