We often hear talks of living with perpetual terrorism in the European societies; it's because - they have exhausted all other moral solutions to terrorism, and they can't go beyond that. The question is - how long this status quo of moral solution will hold in those societies.
You are opining such moral solutions as well, and, most people will not disagree with you. Yes, wiping out a segment of the population from a country is unacceptable. I am sure, even that Indian politician, who want to drive out Muslims from India, must know that. Then, why did she said so? Perhaps she has no other solution to the perpetual terrorism in their society. I am sure, Myanmar knows, they will face international backlash for driving out so many people out of that country, but they did it anyway, because they, perhaps, have no other possible solution to the problem. Philippine is taking drastic measures against Islamic terrorism in that land. None of such actions are moral.
What I am saying is that – world maybe running out of moral solutions. When that happens, I can assure you, mighty environment takes over, and it doesn't care about moral solutions. In that phase, strange things happens around us in order to stabilize world entropy. It has happened many times before, and it will happen again. We are just witnessing the beginning of it.
