1. I cannot agree more on what you have said. But I want to make a comment on
your assertion that "if we accept the system, we are engaged in discrimination."
2. This a harsh fact of life (you can call it a tragedy) for an individualist or a freedom seeking soul. It is a tragedy because you are operating within so many socio-political systems and are bound to act according to all the rules and norms. I believe, in general, at least theoretically, systems are getting more and more civilized and as such opportunities to discriminate are getting weaker and weaker every day. You may discriminate and you have to do it tactfully and in a very subtle way. The bottom line is: you can be a part of a system and still choose to act most fairly given the existing rules and norms.
3. You may also choose to be a rebel or nonconformist and risk your status. Who knows you may one day emerge victorious too since it is the rebels and nonconformists who show new paths.
