India is still steeped into the crazy dream of "Akhanda Bharat" ( Pre-partitioned India) and like some confused Pakistanis ( Dreaming of joining back under one federation) those are dreams. We shed a lot of blood to gain a FREE country for Bangla speaking people and we cannot step back. Time and again we have proven Bengali Muslims are peace loving people. India has to show us that she wants peace with us.

Don't want to dampen your warm feeling towards India but you are giving more credit to her than she deserves. India was forced by the US (Please see recently published Nixon papers for details) and other regional powers (And Sheikh Mujibur Rahman) to stay out of Bangladesh. Mujibur Rahman made a lot of mistakes after 71 while trying to rule this new country but his love and dedication to this country should not be questioned. Since 71 India has shown her true hostile face to us and we are waiting for that to change. We want good relations with India. But stealing our water from international rivers and making false charges against our country will not help this cause.
