Re: [ALOCHONA] Re: Worth a read: The season for remembering by Syed Badrul Ahsan

Ezaj

i dont think anyone can satisfy you. neither is it his responsibility to satisfy everyone. In this article he wrote well and based it on some factual basis. May be you should write what eats your goat but then you will have to work much harder and come up with some logic in what you are saying not just whatever meets your visceral likes or dislikes.
I know you will find this annoying and absolutely unsatisfactory.

It is indeed worth a read. But if it is a season for remembering then there are a lot of other things he could be remembering too. Badrul, like so many clever people, continuously feeds the status quo of politics in Bangladesh by diverting attention away from the real issues, by not holding AL to account and by diluting righteous outrage into genteel reflection.

It's not like Badrul has any real problem with murder, extortion or mayhem perpetuated by activists of his favourite party.

He writes beautifully and thoughtfully it must be said but what a waste of talent.
