Re: [ALOCHONA] Re: Facebook can trigger extreme stress reactions

Any new technology or changes in our lifestyle brings new challenges with it. Social network is no exception. I do not think, the article was asking us to block internet or social network from our lives. However if we are not careful about it, we may fall in the "Trap".

Before we start socialize in the net, we need to know how to deal with the net. I am constantly in shock how people give away their personal information in the net and more importantly how companies ( information technology) have no codified law/guide to steer their employees from hijacking their clients. Unlike modern countries, BD (And other developing countries) do not have any clear privacy laws or law enforcement units to prevent people from abusing internet technology.

This is going to pose a serious challenge in near future for Bangladesh. We have more freedom to access information than any of our previous generations. However with freedom comes responsibilities. We have serious lacking in this area.

Despite serious lacking in accessing information,  people from Kurigram district [ I am using this as as example, please do not get offended!] have a stress free life compare to people in Dhaka. Now a days most dakaiya children do not talk to their parents or family members. But they endure more stress than any of our previous generations. Unfortunately our "New life style" has no ways for them to get help either.

IT technology is a wonderful thing but without knowing how to deal with it is like giving a brand new car to a driver who does not know how to drive it.

Shalom!

It is unbelievable and not the fault of social network. It may happen in road , people may heartfelt after seeing his/her ex- girl/boy friend . I have seen number of news in the news paper that number of people committed suicide after the death of dhakai hero salman shah. It is the age of socialization that we need run with. We may say mobile is not good for health but will we able to continue our todays life without mobile?
