[ALOCHONA] Re: Read what BNP said about Dr. Yunus and Grameen in 1991-2006

Dear Alochoks

What a wonderful display of the Nethrist in action!

He cannot bring himself to accept the jealousies and rotten strategies of his own Nethri. As a typical Nethrist he would rather go to the moon than take an honest look in the mirror. And so, instead of admitting to his own Nethri's vindictive jealousy (as internationally reported) he goes looking for the jealousy of the opposition Nethri! After trawling through the archives he comes up with his evidence. Let us observe the thinking of the Nethrist.

In both the articles the Nethrist has presented there is no mention of Khaleda, nor indeed is there any quote of hers. We have the Nethrist stating that his source told him Khaleda had instructed Saifur Rahman to trash Yunus. This is probably, but not evidently, true. My source tells me that before Hasina's infamous press conference where she lost control of her mouth and trashed Yunus at least three ministers had asked her to avoid the subject and let them deal with Yunus through their ministries. Hasina replied that Yunus had been unsupportive of Mujib back in 1974 and that he deserved punishment for that and that the jonogon wanted her to attack to Yunus. Well, we all saw her performance at that press conference. After the fallout it seems she has decided it is better to keep her mouth shut and to instruct her Ministers to do the dirty work. It seems infact that she may have learned something from Khaleda :) Both ladies are ridiculous.

Returning to the evidence. There is no evidence of jealousy here. There is no name calling. There is no crass sloganeering. There is no obvious vendetta. There is no behind the scenes conspiracy.

What we do have is Saifur Rahman saying that the Government has invested in infrastructure and that Grameen has not :) And of course, his is annoyed that Grameen receives such acclaim abroad. Perhaps if the Government turned itself into an NGO it would be more productive and would be able to translate its values and results to the world - and the people of Bangladesh : ) This AL government is in the same boat but has reacted in a far worse manner.

The Nethrist of AL and the Nethrist of BNP are both educated and honest individuals. But they are basically a type of cretin. They are learned but believe that the grandchild of their Nethri is more fit to rule than their own unborn grandchild. The Nethrist likes to think he is a loyal soldier but he is not. He is after all, incapable of thinking for himself, incapable of dissent, incapable of rebellion, incapable of succession planning and incapable of a manly demeanour. The Nethrist, is in short, as capable of disloyalty as a dog to his master or an infant to his mother.

Nethrists cannot be taught, conditioned or forced into a new political destiny for themselves or their party. Time is the only medicine. For time will see them die off and be replaced by their own free thinking, modern and marvellous children who will always put Bangladesh before any crackpot, tinpot, third rate politician.
