[ALOCHONA] Re: Historic Mujibnagar Day today

We need more days, especially in the second half of the year, to commemorate more historic days. Our mighty history is littered with historic days.

I always thought naming Mujib's base as Mujibnagar was indicative of the folly to come. It had symbolic value of course, perhaps even inspirational. But it was born of a personality cult.

Historic Mujibnagar Day.

We are busy 'chalking out programmes' and observing with 'due solemnity and fervour'. Meanwhile a brothel was raided and more than a dozen sex slaves aged 12 to 14 were found.

And not a whisper of outrage anywhere.

Load of rubbish.
