The Ashuganj-Agartala corridor has become a corridor of subservience, since 29 March 2011, as conceded by the govt in its slavish subservience to India. Although there has been statements by the opposition parties in meetings and human-chains against these corridors of subservience, but no large demo has yet been held on the corridor route or anywhere else in the country against corridor to India, in view of the host of unresolved issues with India. Peaceful large demos with placards and banners often highlight the issues to the citizens, which we need in order to mobilise support against Indian hegemonism over Bangladesh. We cannot afford to sleep walk into losing our independence and sovereignty!
