I think, you do not know history of Philippines and not much about it. They love USA and curse their Freedom Fighters, who used to Sneak Attack Americans in 1930's because people of Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Hawaii etc did not do that and they have a few to 10 times better standard of living than theirs. Natives of those Islands need no Visa to go to New York, Philippines do.

FACTS ABOUT PHILIPPINES:

1. Philippines were Savage Pagan people, who's even Females did not cover their Breasts before Spanish landed their.
2. They were invaded by Chinese and enslaved.
3. Spanish conquered Philippines in 1521 and was turned in to a Colony of Spain and this is why its a Catholic Christian country just like all present Spanish Speaking countries in the West.
4. USA had bought Philippines from King of Spain in 1898 paying in Gold and had freed it in 1935.
5. Japan had conquered and occupied Philippines after that.
6. USA had gotten them freed again in 1945.
7. If USA gets involved in anything with Philippines its not because USA wants to take it over again. Its because Philippines request USA to negotiate for them.
8. As a matter of fact, almost all Philippines want to be a colony of USA still.
