Subject: care taker government
Dear Sir,
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah,
I have noticed recent statement of Mr. Suranjit Sen Gupta (SSG) that tree of CareTaker Government (CTG) is dead now. It can’t be revived. In reply Mr. Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that, if properly nursed, flower can blossom in a dead plant. I discussed the matter with some of my friends. A friend said that Mr. Suranjit Sengupta is totally wrong.
The concept or idea or theory of Caretaker government * CTG) can’t be compared to a living plant. Living being and ideas are not same. Ideas or concepts can be even eternal. To revive an ‘Idea’ is the function of people. People at any time can accept or revive an idea however old it is.
In the case of CTG, it will require just an amendment of the constitution to revive the concept. I again repeat that Mr. SSG has misconceived the whole thing in comparing the living being ( such as plant) with a system or a concept or an idea.
