Re: [mukto-mona] Fw: [notun_bangladesh] Prof Kabir Chwdhury and his family.....

Mr. Anwar,

Even if we believe your accusation, I could visualize myself doing the same under the circumstances, meaning I would have cooperated with Razakars to stay alive also. Someone's actions after the independence reflect the real story. I can tell you that – after the independence, those two individuals have contributed so much towards establishing a secular Bangladesh in the spirit of the independence that nothing can tarnish their reputation anymore. Your attempt, my friend, is silly and childish.

Many of my Hindu friends in the southern-belt were forced to embrace Islam during the independence struggle, and they had to cooperate with their masters to stay alive. Today, they are just as good Hindu as any of us. Are you going to tell me that they loved Razakar philosophy so much that they embraced Islam and cooperated with Razakars? Give me a break!

I wish BNP/Jamat could have done some sole-searching after independence, and rethink their communal/religious politics; if they did so, the country would have been a "shining example" in the world today. I remember - in my graduate school, one of my classmates, from Cyprus, once told me that - their state run television in Cyprus used to show every detail of our independence movement, and they were so proud of the people of Bangladesh. Think about these issues before passing a comment on something like this. I find most of your postings are just silly, devoid of any real value. In this forum, we are all grownups; we can separate propaganda from reality.

Have a nice day!

Jiten Roy

Mr. Anwar,
I was trying not to respond to your comments anymore after last discussion we had on RAZAKAR issue and on JAMAT's communcal politics and your boasting of witnessing beheading in KSA. Now seeing you accusing Poet Late Shamsur Rahman and Prof. Kobir Chowdhury as RAZAKAR seems so outragious that I could not help but respond. First of all, the news paper link that you gave here is JAMAT's Propaganda News Paper which has ZERO credibility. Besides, people of Bangladesh know who the big RAZAKARS are? Some of them have been arrested while many are still out. There is no way you will change even one person's mind by posting this kind of lies here or anywhere. Country is eagerly waiting to wintness the trial of the masterminds aka killers of the 1971 (i.e. RAZAKAR). NIZAMI/MUJAHEDIN/SAYDEE/SAKA/ALEEM/KAMRUZZAMAN/KADER MOLLA and offcourse Golam AZAM should be tried SOON and we want to see justice served promptly. No politics here; this is a demand of the humanity. THESE PEOPLE KILLED, RAPED many many innoncent Bengalies and that is the FACT.

Prof.Kobir Chowdhry is a great Razakar and served Pakistani junta during our liberation war, now suddenly he became a part of pro-liberation force, How ?
Other great Razakar was  Late Poet Shamsur Rahman, who served the Pakistani junta diring our liberation  war as Editor of now defunct Dainik Pakistan and this government daily was the mouthpiece of the Pakistani junta.
Can anyone deny this fact as well as let me know how they can be treated as pro-liberation force ?
