I feel Pakistan has lost its legitimacy to call herself as modern democratic state. If it is so then why people of different hues are subjected to ethnic and sectarian violence? Why Hazara of Baluchistan who happened to be Shia Muslim of not less than 5 Lakh in population are systematically being killed and maimed and there is no recourse of justice? No long ago Governor of Paunkjab Mr. Tasser was gunned by his own guard for his impeccable support extended to a christian woman who was incarcerated on the basis controversial blasphemy law. In fact depredatory instinct is in full articulation over there.
I condemn the heinous crime against humanity and demand from administration not only indulge into issuing statement but take such nefarious elements heads on and snuff out their presence in our midst. It would help in creating deterrence and discourage them in taking law into their own hands. In this way minority communities and others would feel secure that is the hall-mark of just and modern democratic set-up what Pakistan is proclaiming at different fora. I hope Pakistan administration and its leadership would live up to these high valued expectations.

| Pakistan and her minorities Four doctors in Chawk town of Sindh province of Pakistan yesterday shot dead by some unidentified people. The names of the doctors were Dr. Ashok, Dr. Naresh, Dr. Ajit, Dr. Satia Pall. The cause of this murder was not yet known and the local administration are also reluctant to take this murder seriously and rather they are trying to hide this incident. Chawk town is inhabited about 50,000 Hindus. This news is published today (09/11/2011) in "Bartaman", a Bengali daily from Kolkata, India. Pakistan is becoming more Islamist day by day.The minorities specially the Shikhs (Punjabi/ Gurumukhi language speaking) have to pay money to the local chieftain of the village to stay in the village. The survived of the Harappa and Mohenjo-daro , the descendants of Taxsila University (in B.C. era) , the people of Indus Valley Civilization, the people of Uttarapath have left behind their own forefathers' culture and faith and had taken the desert culture and faith and have become more and more intolerant.
