[ALOCHONA] RE: [mukto-mona] Fw: OP meeting on "Hindu temples and properties are destroyed in Chittagong, Bangladesh"

        There we go, Robin, this is the game pattern. Throw in a piece of vaguely truth-sounding lie, half-truths, facts steeped in duplicity.

     That evil-incarnate Barrister Abdur Razzaq is teary-eyed to the press (Al Jazeera TV) about Go Azam's infirmity due to old age, and that he was the dignified chief of a political party which just happens to be in the Opposition today.  Hence the whole War Crimes Trial is a farce, a personal vendetta against the Opposition by Awami League.

          How does a known war criminal become the chief of a 'legal' political party? The Al Jazeera journo mentions that Bangladesh constitution barred political parties based on religion. But somehow that constitution had been meddled with. Therefore, it should be apparent even to the viewers of the 3-minute long Al Jazeera exposure that somehow the Islamist Jamaati party had been reigning BD politics sometime in the recent past, and had not quite been rolling in the dirt for 40 years. In fact, as Razzaq testifies, they had it pretty good -- MPs, Ministers, Party leaders, and what not!

       David Bergman who has a blog on War Crimes Tribunal, Dhaka, is completely in agreement with Barrister Razzaq.

            David Bergman's brain cannot be picked to ask a simple question, as a human being or as a journalist: 40 years ago, did Go Azam and his killer brigade spare the lives of fellow human beings because of infirmity of old age, tender age, or fair gender?

          There are several War Crimes Trials going on in various parts of the world.  Apprehending the known war criminals in order to face trial has not been questioned by the press, neither in Den Haag, nor in Rwanda, nor in Liberia,  nor in Cambodia. Just the other day, an octogenerian Cambodian war criminal got convicted. The reports never mentioned about a "political vendetta" against this Pol Pot collaborator on the part of the present Cambodian govt. What the reports dwelt upon were the atrocities the hapless Cambodian civilians suffered as a result of Duch's crimes against humanity.

What referendum is he talking about. There was the Lahore resolution during the Muslim League Conference. It was not a referendum. There was no vote. It is difficult to even have a basic discussion with this kind of person when they dont even know their basic facts.

   This is very significant.  Thank you Mr. Mustafiz.  I can copy these lines posted by you as part of the Prosecution at the on-going War Crimes Tribunal:

<<  Implementing the recommendations of the attached letter to the PM would mean nullifying the Referendum of 1940. Nullifying the aspirations of the Muslims in the subcontinent. >>

Mustafizur Rahman
====================

         What you mean is that the Genocide 1971 was pefectly justified. Not committing the mass murders of Hindus and the "like-minded" Muslims would tantamount to "Nullifying the aspirations of the Muslims in the subcontinent."

        The pathetic fact is that Sir Syed Ahmed in 19th century and his followers of  'angreji' learned Muslims of Muslim League of India did not think Bengali Muslims even deserved being called full-fledged human beings, let alone being full sharers of the aspirations of the Muslims in the subcontinent.   Yes, yes, I know. Pakistan was created on the crest of a refrendum from Bengal delivered by A. K. Fazlul Huq.

         In 2012 you would encourage the continuing desecration of Hindu temples in Bangladesh and, if possible, at every artificially created communal hungama, murdering the remaining Hindus in Bnagladesh in order to fulfill the aspirations of the Muslims in the subcontinent.

         You, Mr. Mustafiz, our adorer jamai, Mohishasur, S.A. Hannan, his Jamaati-minded supporters, et al, and the few self-appointed representatives of a massive humanity of about 450 million people of the worlld called "the Muslims of the subcontinent" are carrying on the fight for the aspirations of the Muslims in the subcontinent by discriminating against  the Hindus of Bangladesh.

         You have to come down to the REALITY that after the 1970 debacle of the general election of Pakistan, when the winner of the election was quite extraordinarily (and illegally) denied the democratic rights, it was the Pakistani  Military Generals who threw a damper into this British colonial mischief-generated "aspirations of the Muslims in the subcontinent."

         They succeeded in bullying the Bengali populace in 1971 with murder, arson, rape and other atrocities by way of fulfilling the aspirations of the Muslims in the subcontinent with the help of 8 billion $ American military aid.

           I can go on.  The fact of the matter is this : Not having a War Crimes Tribunal for the crimes of 1971 War Crimes has cost not only Bangladesh but the whole world in undescribable moral degradation of which you, Mr. Mustafiz, and Mohiuddin, the Mohishasur, et al  are a product.

Please find two attached files - 1) photo of a meeting organized by the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council (BHBCUC), USA leadership in protest of the communal atrocities of BNP/Shibir cadres on Hindus at Hathazari and Nandirhat, Chittagong, and 2) a paper clip of the open letter to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, published in the local Bengali Newspapers, USA.  The letter was also transmitted to various leaders of the international organizations and government officials, including UN Secretary General and US state department.
