Re: [mukto-mona] Re: [Ovimot] No Transit fees!

It has been proved many a time that AL is historically less pro-Indian. Zia was practically submissive to Indian leadership. After capturing power he went to Meet Desai. Desai did not give him any interview. He told Zia to change his army dress. Before Desai's visit all billboards in Dhaka city were brought down for "renovation". AL brought highest cusec from Farakka. Zia wanted Tipaimukh. BNP wanted to give India gas. It is not that they do it out of friendship. They do it because they want to be in power. When they are not in power they play India card. When they are in power they engage in all kinds of conspiracies to weaken India. In that way they are pro-Pakistani. Spirits and sense of independence I have seen in Mujib cannot be imagined in Zia or Ershad. Mujib had it because he knew that he was in power with absolute support of his people. Because of this basic leadership quality he easily angered powerful enemies. Remember his first press conference in London after he was released from Pakistani jail. He sacked Tajuddin because some how he got the impression that Tajuddin was sucking up India too much. When you have too much confidence, you care less to be diplomatic. As a nation we are unfortunate. We started well but are still struggling.
