Re: [mukto-mona] Daily Amardesh --Khaleda Zia's speech in Lakkhipur--n o election without non-party government--otherwise exit of government through people's movement

 @Mr. Anwar:

What you said are all valid points. Yes, newly elected government will always do something different based on their political ideologywhen  they come to power; many of which will go against the ideology of the opposition party. That's a normal process of a democracy.  The duty of the opposition party is to point out what's wrong in those steps. If they can make their point to the public, they will be voted in - in the next election. Opposition party's job is not to destabilize the country to overthrow the government. If they come to power by doing so, the next opposition party will also destabilize the country to overthrow them. Where is the end; what the people and the country are getting out of such political exchanges. This is the political atmosphere in Bangladesh. The people are getting nothing out of this system.

Opposition party leader is using reckless, uncivil, and uncultured languages in her speeches. A few days back she said that she will break government's legs to make them cripple ('Lulla'). What this message tells to her supporters. It says that they should do anything and everything to cripple this government, since it is not fulfilling her demand. This is a deliberate destabilization of the country's economy. It should not be allowed to anybody or any party, no matter who is in power.

The opposition parties are accused of conspiring with the Army to take over power. The opposition will do so only when they are suspicious about their success through the democratic process. The whole political atmosphere is polluted. It's really unfortunate to hear such crude statements from a political leader. People are watching a cat-fight between two leading political leaders.

Mr. Roy,

Before election Hasina never declared that she will change the constitution and remove caretaker provision permanently. But unfortunately, she did this without a consensus. Nations major opposition party BNP  and their allies didn't agree on this change. We have to understand the truth that people/voter's didn't gave Hasina blank check to do whatever she likes. She has to understand the heartbeat of the nation. All Bangladehis aren't  supporeters of Awami Jote, almost half of the voters oppose Awami policy. Only two major party existing in Bangladesh, no third front is matured yet. Without BNP participation election will be meaningless and unacceptable to the people of Bangladesh and  democratic World.
My prediction is that, there will be consensus between BNP and Awami League and different system of government will conduct the election. New formula will come out just on time, but surely this government of Hasina won't be in charge during the next election INSHAALLAH.
