Re: [mukto-mona] How to follow religions correctly

The Muslim population of the world is over a billion strong. On
judging the demography, one would find out that most of them descend
from the Hindu converts. The reason might be the decadence of the
Hindu societies in India and Indonesia, and the converts also might
have been lured by the luscious Islamic paradise. One may draw a
parallel with the descendants of Hulagu Khan, who converted to Islam
after having committed the Baghdad massacre. Hatred is a driving
force in religion. The Jews conquered Ugarit at the point of sword
four decades after their exodus from Egypt; succumbed to their
language, culture and religion, and yet when the books of the Old
Testament were written hundreds of years later, they became
monotheistic. Their fictitious Moses was found to instruct to destroy
the temples and other institutions of Canaan. At the highest point of
their glory, Solomon built a temple with the help of a Phoenician
emperor, whose name is forgotten. However, the wise Solomon
accommodated all the known deities in his temple. Monotheism is
unculture, as Gibbon pointed out. Even Christianity, being top to
bottom paganism, is hateful to it's origins. In the name of god, the
religious persons are used to doing many other misdeeds.

About eating beef, and other forbidden meat, even the ancient Hindu
seers did it. That is besides the point. The qurbani is based on the
cattle, a large part of which is stolen from the other side of the
border, and the thieves often face the bullets of border guards or are
tortured like the one whose video was recently aired by the
international channels. Our talk show hosts made a hero out of him.
What a shame!!
