1. I am assuming what Mr. Anwar has stated is true. So far without any exception, all the ruling parties in Bangladesh had their own "goons". The current ruling party is also no exception. Our party leaders utilize them to consolidate their power and in turn these goons take law and order situation in their own hands. Police and judicial systems are helpless in front of them. The goons eventually turn into boomerang. The newly created country expected a lot more from Mujib in terms of security, safety, and fairness. Unfortunately it did not happen. Much of the information reached him after being filtered at different stages. Being the "confident" father of the nation, in some cases the flatterers around him mangaed to manipulate his opinions and actions. When he could realize it subsequently, it was too late.
2. But what happened to Dalim personally in the wedding party or thereafter had nothing to do with the big conspiracy that killed Mujib. Dalim was an insignificant element in that conspiracy. Dalim had grievances and the big conspirators simply used him as a tool. The 1975 August coup was not merely a coup to replace a "corrupt, inefficient, and repressive" government. I am not sure if Dalim was aware about it. I think he was. I think he could not accept the 1972 constitution and the country's domestic and foreign policies. "Excesses" done by Sheikh Kamal and others were the excuses for him to join the coup organizers. He did not do any thing out of patriotism or love for the spirits of freedom. He simply wanted to share power in his own way that coincided well with that of the rightist bloc inside and outside AL. As it is being gradually revealed, a well coordinated international cospiracy was a key to the success of the August coup.

The fact is that: Major Dalim's wife was manhandled by Red Cross Chief Ghazi Golam Mostofa's Gunodhor Son and his gang in a marriage reception poarty where both Dalim and Ghazi's son was present.
Major Dalim protested this incedent and was later abducted by the Ghazi's son and his armed gang. Hearing this abduction news angry soldiers from Major Dalim's company raided Ghazis house and broght him back to safety.
Major Dalim sought justice from "Father of the Nation". Father of the nation not only refised justice rather dismissed Major Dalim to protect
Ghazi's son. Ghazi Golam Mostofa was a good friend of the Father of the Nation but hated by most Bangladesdhis for his mishandling of Relief materials.
Even the than Army Chief Gen. Shafiullah was unhappy about the sacking of Major Dalim and others from the Army. This is the part of the history and nobody can rewrite the history now.
Father of the Nation paid the price for his miscalculation.

Morever witness Major Dalim is still alive by the mercy of Allah Rabbul Alamin and ready to tell the truth to the nation.

One small correction . Major Dalim's wife was never abducted . There was an exchange of words in a wedding ceremony because some young guys were misbehaving with a lady in the program when Dalim got angry. But it is merely a propaganda that Dalim's wife was abducted. Like many other propagandas that Sheikh Kamal went to loot Bangladesh Bank or Sheikh Kamal and Jamal wore Gold Crown in their wedding.

By talking against Illias Ali you want to justify his disappearance and subsequent killing.
This kind of secret killing and even open killing were done by AL people. This AL used
to rape our women, killed about 36,000 political rivals since August 1971 till August 1975,
looted the properties of pepople, occupied 60% houses of Hindu people (in the name of secularism)
etc. But they put all the blame to Sheik Mujib. Angry army personnel including Major Dalim (an injured freedom fighter) whose wife was kidnaped by Awami cadres and no action was taken against the kidnappers and army were looking for the opportunity to stop AL atrocity. In this way AL reduced the popularity of Sheik Mujib close to zero and pave the way for his killing.
IN FACT AT THAT TIME KILLING WAS VERY COMMON AND COURT LOST ITS POWER AND HENCE ARMY THOUGHT THAT IF THEY KILL SHEIK MUJIB NOTHING WILL HAPPENED TO THEM.
Remember on the 15 th August night almost all the ministers who took oath were of the ministers of Sheik Mujib Cabinet. This is Awame league. Still we had vote this AL IN 2008 to get rid of the atrocity of BNP (specially of Taique Zia) . If PEOPLE knew AL will start Goom and khoon again like that of
